Disclosure
How The Learning Curve is funded, and how we keep that from shaping what we write.
Affiliate links
Some links to course platforms are affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra. Any article with an affiliate link says so before the first one, and affiliate links are marked as sponsored in the page code so search engines know what they are.
We currently have, or have applied for, affiliate relationships with Thinkific, LearnWorlds, Teachable and Kajabi.
How we keep it fair
- Whether a company pays a commission never decides whether we cover it, how we score it or where it ranks.
- Every review uses the same published method, and scores come from hands-on testing.
- No company pays to be featured, and no article is sponsored.
- We link to tools with no affiliate program whenever they're the right fit.
Our founder's businesses
The Learning Curve's founder, Jim Lounsbury, also runs CredentialCraft, a course-design studio, and works in educational development at Avondale University. When an article mentions CredentialCraft, it says so at the first mention. CredentialCraft is never ranked or scored against the platforms we review.
AI and images
We use AI tools to help research and draft. Every article is reviewed and approved by a person before it's published. Documentary-style photographs are AI-generated illustrations, and are credited that way under each image. Research excerpts and charts are built from the cited studies, never generated.
Prices and advice
Prices are checked on the date shown and change often; check the platform's own pricing page before you buy. Nothing here is financial or legal advice.
